3D and 360-Degree Features

Non-flat photos also gain popularity slowly. One form is a 3D photo that brings a multi-dimensional feel and makes the image pops out in a timeline.

Another form is the 360-degree photo, which by its name, it gives the audience a complete view of the subject. These are most appropriate to location shots, although not limited to places. With this feature, the audience experiences extra details and navigation that a flat photo can’t provide.

Animated Photos

Years ago, people thought that moving photos were impossible to create. But the digital sphere allows us to beat this idea of animated photos:

  • GIF – People are already familiar with GIFs. It is either a photo or graphic image that moves in a loop. Social media networks have integrated gifs on their platforms, and they have been part of our daily conversations with our friends and family.
  • Cinemagraph – Anyone familiar with the Harry Potter world knows that the photos there are moving like videos. In real life, a type of picture is invented almost like it. What is different about cinemagraph?  Only a part of the photo moves, which creates a magical sight for the audience to see. For example, a still image of a cup but the coffee it holds spin forever.
  • Motion graphics – These are already prevalent in social media and live presentations. Through editing software or apps (such as Canva), one can create an animated slide that draws attention from the audience while relaying the message creatively.

Cloud storage serves well for digital assets. Since photos and videos can be shoot in a snap, it won’t take long for someone to need more space to keep all of them. Tangible storage piles up until these devices require more rooms to store the storage devices. Aside from that, manually searching for a specific photo in a couple of storage can be stressful.
